You want to look inside Pandora's box, huh?

So, over the long weekend, I purchased a Givenchy Pandora Bag. I was deciding between a Balenciaga and an Alexander Wang, but I decided to take a bold turn.
While I put up the pictures, I decided to do a post of Givenchy.

GIVENCHY
Hubert de Givenchy was one of the designers who came together to redefine the Parisian fashion. In 1954, Givenchy launched the first luxury 'ready to wear' line, first among the major fashion designers. Mostly, he wanted to dress women. Every women. Many of the best dressed women at the time wore Givenchy- Lauren Bacail, Babe Paley, Elizabeth Taylor, and Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis. Then his career really began when a beautiful young lady came into his shop for a fitting- Audrey Hepburn.

One of the most extraordinary pieces of clothing that made the relationship between these two people very special was the iconic Little Black Dress. Audrey Hepburn wore the dress in a film created in 1961, and was said that the dress was simple and ultra-elegant; it was the perfect incarnation of Givenchy style. Hubert de Givenchy donated the dress for Hepburn to the charity City and Joy. After Audrey's death, the dress was auctioned in London on 2006. The dress was eventually returned to its original place of creation. The Little Black Dress is still a major icon in fashion, and surly one of the best pieces of Givenchy's archives.

In the modern times, with stores in over 40 countries and cities, Givenchy is still an elegant brand loved by many, many women and men all around the world. Givenchy clothes still have the sense of 'The Audrey Hepburn Clothes' that allure all women.
"Balenciaga once said the secret of elegance is elimination. I believe that. That’s why I love Hubert Givenchy… They’re clothes without ornament, with everything stripped away."
– Audrey Hepburn.
